1 Application range

Passive over-voltage relays are used to distinguish the over-voltage of lines and power equipment and are used as over-voltage protection.

Passive low-voltage relays are used to determine the voltage of lines and power equipment are too low, used as power loss protection or cooperate with current relays to form low-voltage lockout over-current protection.

3 Working principle and main performance

3. Working principle

The AC voltage is converted by the AC converter to the AC voltage required by the relay; then the harmonics other than 50HZ are filtered through the 50HZ band pass; then the DC voltage is sent to the setting loop through rectification and filtering; the setting loop depends on changing the amplifier of the operational amplifier Multiplier to change the setting value; the output voltage UZ of the setting loop is sent to the level detector and compared with the comparison voltage UB; then the output of the relay J is driven to act.

Take AK11 structure passive relay as an example:

For PGY-90 passive overvoltage relay, under normal operation conditions UZ<UB, relay J will not operate, the action indicator light will go out, the moving contacts 1-3, 7-19 will be disconnected, and the moving disconnection contacts 3- 17. 5-7 is closed; in the case of failure, UZ≥UB, relay J will act, the action indicator will be on, the moving contacts 1-3, 7-19 are closed, and the moving break contacts 3-17, 5-7 are disconnected.

For PDY-90 passive low-voltage relay, under normal operating conditions UZ>UB, relay J will act, the action indicator will be on, the moving contacts 1-3, 7-19 are closed, and the moving break contacts 3-17, 5 -7 is disconnected; in the case of failure, UZ≤UB, relay J will not operate, the action indicator light will go out, the moving contacts 1-3, 7-19 will open, and the moving disconnect contacts 3-17, 5-7 will be closed.

3.2 Main performance

3.2.1 This relay is mainly composed of integrated circuits. Stable performance, high reliability, high accuracy of the action value, small discrete value, wide setting range, fast action and return speed, good return coefficient, small load on the transformer, vibration resistance, anti-interference and high insulation level.

3.2.2 The protection setting value is set by the dial switch on the relay panel, the setting is intuitive and convenient, the debugging is simple and convenient, and there is no need to adjust on site.

3.2.3 Relay has action indicator light

3.2.4 The product installation structure has embedded board rear wiring and protruding board front wiring as well as standard 35mm rail type terminal block wiring, which is convenient for on-site installation and has strong versatility.
